ORDER:

In the G.O. 1st read above, Government have issued orders declaring 20.10.2021 (Wednesday) as Holiday on the occasion of Eid Miladun Nabi.

2 In the letter 2nd read above, the Chief Executive Officer, Andhra Pradesh State Waqf Board, Vijayawada has informed that Moon sighting for the month of Rabbi-Ul-Awwai, 12 day of the Islamic month is coincidence with 19.10.2021 i.e., the day of birth of Prophet Muhammad (SLS) (PBUH) and requested to change the holiday to 19.10.2021 on the Occasion of Eid Miladun Nabil instead of 20.10.2021 as declared earlier.

3. The Government, after careful consideration of the matter, have decided to change the General Holiday on the occasion of Eid Miladun Nabi on 19.10.2021 (Tuesday) instead of 20.10.2021 (Wednesday). Accordingly, the following notification is issued and shall be published in the extra ordinary Gazette of Andhra Pradesh State:

NOTIFICATION

In partial modification of the orders issued in G.O.Rt.No.1963, General Administration (Poll.B) Department, dated 15.12.2020, notifying the General Holidays and Optional Holidays, the Government hereby declare 19.10.2021 (Tuesday) as General Holiday on the occasion of Eid Miladun Nabi instead of 20.10.2021 (Wednesday).
