The attention of the Commissioners of ULBS, where the Municipal Schools exists, is invited to the reference 3rd cited (copy enclosed), wherein the School Education Department has issued certain guidelines for merging of schools located in same/adjacent/below 250 meters in view of implementation of "National Education Policy - 2020" in the schools in the State.
Therefore, communicate herewith the copy of reference 3rd cited and the Municipal Commissioners of ULBS where the Municipal Schools exists, are requested to go through the guidelines issued by the School Education Department scrupulously in coordination with the officials of School Education Department and report compliance in the matter.
All the RDMAs in the State are requested to guide the Commissioners in their region in this regard and the above instructions are complied with by the Commissioners without fail.
