                      The attention of the all DistrictEducational Officers in the State in invited to the reference read above and they are informed that the language Pandits Gr-II who handle the High School Classes are erligible for a spsecial pay of Rs.100/-per month as per C&DSE PricRc.No.463/G2/66,dated.06.02.1967. This special pay can be allowwed irrespective of the number of periods with prior sanction of the district Educational officer concerned.The DEO's have to ensure that the language pandits Gr-II posts the qualifications prescribed for the post of language pandit Gr-II and eligible for the same in accordance with the seniority. The DEO's have to access the workload for making this arrangement to avoid unnecessary drawl of special pay.

 

                        Further all the DEO's state are instructed to take necessary action as per the G.O.Ms.No.118, Finance Dept, dt.07.04.2010 regarding the details of allowancess to be paid to the language pandits Grade-II (i.e.Rs.100/- per month) who are handling higher classes of High Schools.
