AP Restrictions / Guidelines for implementation in wake of COVID-19

Government of Andhra Pradesh has taken several steps to contain the spread of Covid-19 with focus on test-trace-treat-vaccinate and inculcate COVID appropriate behaviour amongst the people, Various news reports as well as advisories issued by WHO and MOHFW, Government India about Omicron variant have necessitated a re-look at imposing a few restrictions for implementation in the State.

After a thorough review of the COVID-19 situation and keeping in view of the guidelines issued by Government of India, Government hereby issue the following restrictions/guidelines for implementation in the State to contain the spread of Covid-19:

Covid guidelines: రాష్ట్రంలో కొవిడ్ వ్యాప్తి నిరోధానికి ప్రభుత్వం మరోమారు మార్గదర్శకాలు విడుదల చేసింది. కేంద్ర హోం శాఖ, ప్రపంచ ఆరోగ్య సంస్థ జారీ చేసిన మార్గదర్శకాలను కఠినంగా అమలు చేయాలని నిర్ణయించింది. ఇందులో భాగంగా కొత్త నిబంధనలు జారీ చేసింది.

నూతన మార్గదర్శకాల ప్రకారం.. 

  • పౌరులు బహిరంగ ప్రదేశాల్లో మాస్కు ధరించకపోతే.. 100 రూపాయల జరిమానా విధిస్తామంటూ ఉత్తర్వులు జారీ చేసింది. 
  • ఆ విషయంలో వ్యాపార సముదాయాలకు మాత్రం భారీ హెచ్చరికలు చేసింది. మాస్కు లేని వారిని దుకాణాలు, వాణిజ్య ప్రదేశాలు, వ్యాపార సంస్థల ప్రాంగణాల్లోకి అనుమతిస్తే.. సదరు యాజమాన్యానికి రూ.10 వేల నుంచి 25 వేల మేర జరిమానా విధించాలని ఆదేశించింది.
  • అంతేకాదు.. ఉల్లంఘనలు జరిగిన వ్యాపార, వాణిజ్య సంస్థలను 2 రోజులపాటు మూసివేసేలా నిర్ణయించింది. 
  • దుకాణాలు, వాణిజ్య, వ్యాపార సంస్థల్లో జరిగే ఉల్లంఘనలను 8010968295 నెంబరుకు వాట్సప్ ద్వారా తెలియచేయాలని ప్రభుత్వం సూచించింది.
  • ఉద్దేశపూర్వకంగా ఉల్లంఘనలు జరిగితే.. విపత్తు నిర్వహణ, ఐపీసీ సెక్షన్ 188 ప్రకారం కేసులు నమోదు చేయనున్నట్టు ప్రభుత్వం వెల్లడించింది. 
  • జిల్లా కలెక్టర్లు, ఎస్పీలు, పోలీస్ కమిషనర్​లు ఈ అంశాలను పర్యవేక్షించాలని ఆదేశాలు జారీ చేసింది.
  • Wearing of mask by all individuals in public places is mandatory and non compliance shall attract a penalty of Rs.100/-. Mask should cover nose and mouth at all times. 
  • Establishments/firms/shops etc., allowing any person without a mask into its premises, shall attract a penalty of Rs. 10,000/- to Rs. 25,000/- depending upon the gravity of the offence.
  • If any gross violation occurs in following the COVID Protocol in any market / Commercial establishment, such market/ establishment shall be closed for 1 or 2 days depending on the seriousness of the violation in order to promote compliance with the Covld appropriate behavior.
  • The Market Associations shall be activated to generate awareness on COVID appropriate behavior in the Market premises and the penalties being imposed for failure to do so.
  • Cases of violation of Covid appropriate behavior In premises of shops etc., may be brought to notice of the authorities by means of photographs to bet posted on Whatsapp number 8010968295. Appropriate mechanism to take action against such shops and establishments has been created by the Commissioner of Health & Family Welfare.
  •  All gatherings and congregations including marriages, religious gatherings, social activities etc. shall be permitted to maximum of (500) participants in staggered manner and all participants shall comply with Covid appropriate behavior by compulsorily wearing mask, frequent hand sensitization and maintenance of social distance.

Any violation of the aforesaid instructions shall result in prosecution under Sections 51 to 60 of Disaster Management Act, 2005 and Section 188 of IPC as well. as other applicable laws.

The Collectors & District Magistrates, Commissioners of Police and Superintendents of Police shall enforce these orders in the State scrupulously..

These orders shall be in force until further orders.
