Attention of all the District Treasury and Accounts officers in the State is invited to the subject and references 1st and 3rd cited wherein, this office have issued procedural instructions for processing of withdrawals for the CPS employees superannuated from the Government service and expired without claiming accumulated amount in the PRAN account, advising to process the withdrawal request administratively by submitting the physical documents to CRA.

In this connection, the Protean-CRA authorities has informed this office, vide mail reference 4th cited above, that the additional features have enabled in the online death withdrawal functionality in the CRA system from 01/11/2022 for processing the death withdrawals after superannaution as per the exit procedures of PFRDA, the facility under in the CRA system is as follows,

1. Death after superannuation where nominee will receive 60% lump sum portion & 40% will be utilized for annuity if total corpus available on date of death is above 5 lacs.

 2. Death after superannuation where nominee will receive 100% lump sum portion if total corpus available on date of death is less than 5 lacs.

3. Death after superannuation where nominee will receive 100% lump sum portion if none of family member is alive to take annuity. 4. Death after superannuation where nominee will receive 100% lump sum portion if Subscriber's Spouse is not there/not alive and the parents of the deceased subscriber are alive but not dependent.

Therefore, all the Treasury officers in the state are instructed to take expedite action by initiating online withdrawal on such claims and forward the withdrawal form along with relevant supporting documents to the CRA. They are also directed "NOT" to process the such withdrawals in physical mode from now onwards.

Hence, the District Treasury and Accounts officers in the State are requested to take necessary action to communicate these instructions to all the Divisional Sub Treasuries/Sub Treasuries / Drawing and Disbursing Officers under their jurisdiction.
