DEECET-2023 NOTIFICATION FOR ONLINE APPLICATION Online application for DEECET-2023 are invited from candidates who intend to take admission into Two years Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.Ed) in Government District Institutes of Education and Training (D.I.E.Ts) and other Private Elementary Teacher Training in the state to be conducted by Department of School Education, Govt. of A.P. on 12.06.2023 to 13.06.2023 in all 13 erstwhile District Head quarters of the state of Andhra Pradesh

Date and Time of DEECET-2023: DEECET-2023 will be conducted on 10.05.202 3to 27.05.2023 in all 13 erstwhile District Head quarters of the state of Andhra Pradesh. The Test will be conducted through online in spells.
AP DEECET 2023 Entrance Fee and submission of Application Online:
The fee prescribed for appearing for DEECET-2023 (including examination fee) is Rs.600/ - (Rupees Six hundred only).
Candidate can pay the fee through payment Gateway from 10.05.2023 to 27.05.2023 and submit online application at the DEECET-2023 website: https://cse.ap.gov.in & https://apdeecet.apcfss.in from 10-05-2023 onwards.

Examination centres for DEECET - 2023 :
DEECET-2023 shall be conducted in all the erstwhile I 3 Districts of the Andhra Pradesh state. Candidate can choose any District of his/her choice for online examination centre. If the slot for Examination is exhausted (capacity) in the opted district, nearby district centre will be allotted.

Eligibility criteria for AP DEECET 2023 admission
a) Candidate should be of Indian Nationality
b) The candidates should satisfy Local / Non-Local Status requirement as laid down in A.P. Educational Institutions (Regulation of admission) Order 1974 as subsequently amended from time to time .
c) Candidate should have obtained a rank in DEECET-2023 and should satisfy the eligibility criteria prescribed.
d) Age Limit AP DEECET 2023:
The candidates should have completed 17 years as on 01-09-2023. There is no Upper age limit.
e) Educational Qualifications AP DEECET 2023
Allotment of Seats AP DEECET 2023:
All the sanctioned intake of seats in Government DIETs shall be filled by the Convener. DEECET-2023 on the basis of rank obtained in the DEECET- 2023 duly following the rule of reservation vide Rule 6 & 7 of G.O.Ms.No.30, dt. 08-07-201
The seats allotted to the Un-Aided institutions shall be classified as (1)
Category ·A· seats (2) Category ·B· seats. The Category ·A· seats shall be 80% of the sanctioned intake seats in the Un-Aided institutions that do not opt for SW.2 shall be filled on the basis of rank obtained in the DEECET - 2023. The Un-Aided institutions that opt for SW.2 shall maintain the region wise reservation. The Category's· seats shall be 20% of the total intake seats in the Un-Aided institutions. These 20% seats shall be opened for the candidates who appeared in DEECET-2023 and has been assigned rank in the common merit list.
a) Candidate should be of Indian Nationality

e) Educational Qualifications AP DEECET 2023
- i. The candidate who passed or appeared for the I0 +2 during 2022-23 final Examinations (Qualifying Examination) or its equivalent are eligible to appear for the entrance test. But, they should have passed the qualifying examination by the time of admission.
- ii. The candidate should have secured 50 percent of marks in aggregate in qualifying Examination for appearing in the DEECET - 2023 for both A & B category seats. The minimum percentage of marks in the case of Schedule caste, Scheduled Tribe and Physically Challenged candidates shall however be 45 percent for both A & B category seats.
- iii. Candidate belonging to OC and BC communities shall secure minimum 35 % marks in DEECET-2023. For Scheduled Casts, Scheduled Tribe and Physically Challenged candidates the minimum qualifying mark for allotment of seats reserved under the respective categories will be 25 %. That is to say candidates belonging to SC and ST communities should secure 35 % of mark:s for consideration against seats under OC/NCC/CAP/Spots category.

Method of Admission:
All the seats in the Government Institutions/ DIETs and 80% of the seats belongs to category ·A· shall be filled by the Convener DEECET-2023 and the 20% of the seats which are belongs to Category ·B' shall be filled by the res pective Institutions subject to scrutiny by the Convener, DEECET-2023.

4. Social Studies: - Those who studied any of two subjects out of Civics, Economics, History, Geography and Commerce at Intermediate level

Elementary Teacher Training Institutions
(a)The candidate should have passed or appeared for the Intermediate
Examination (Qualifying Exam) or its equivalent as decided by the DEECET
Committee for appearing at the DEECET. However, he/she should have
passed the qualifying examination at the time of admission.
(b) The candidates should have secured 50% of marks in aggregate in the

The Question Paper of DEECET-2021 consists of 100 marks with objective questions.
