SBI CBO 2025 Application Fee
The online application fee for SBI CBO 2025 exam fee has already been released. A total of Rs. 750/- is to be paid by candidates belonging to General Category as the application fee for SBI Circle Based Officer 2025 exam. The same amount is narrowed down to Rs. 0/- for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category.

Points to know before applying online
• The candidate have to apply for a vacancy in one State only. A candidate applying for a vacancy in one State are not be eligible to apply for a vacancy of any other State.
• Candidature of the applicant are to be considered only against the vacancies in the State for which he/ she has applied/ opted. Merit list will be drawn State wise, category-wise.
• Selected candidates will be posted in the Circle of that State against whose vacancy they are selected.
• The selected candidates will not be entitled to inner-circle transfer up to his/ her promotion to SMGS-IV Grade OR 12 years of service, whichever is later.
SBI CBO 2025 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for any bank exam depends on Educational Qualification, Age Limit, Experience, Local Language etc. A detailed analysis of these factors is given below:
SBI CBO Educational Qualification
Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University in India or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government.
SBI CBO Age Limit (as on 30.04.2025)
Not below 21 years and Not above 30 years as on 30th April 2025. The candidates must have been born not later than 30.04.2004 and not earlier than 01.05.1995 (both days inclusive).
SBI CBO Age Relaxation
SBI is giving relaxation in the upper age limit for several categories which have been discussed below:

SBI CBO Experience (as on 30.04.2025)
Bad news for all fresh graduates because SBI is demanding a minimum of 2 years’ experience (as on 30.04.2025) as an officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank / any Regional Rural Bank.
SBI CBO Local Language
Candidates applying for vacancies of a State have to produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate evidencing having studied the specific local language of the applied State as one of the subjects.
SBI CBO 2025 Selection Process
The selection process of SBI CBO will be based on online computer based test, screening, Interview, and Local Language Proficiency Test. However, the Bank reserves the right to conduct a written examination. The Shortlisting Committee constituted by the Bank will decide the shortlisting parameters and thereafter, an adequate number of candidates, as decided by the Bank will be shortlisted and called for interview. The decision of the bank to call the candidates for the interview shall be final. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
Merit List: The merit list for selection of SBI Circle Based Officer 2025 exam will be prepared in descending order on the basis of scores obtained in the interview only.
Merit list will be drawn State-wise, category-wise. In case more than one candidate scores the cut-off marks (common marks at the cut-off point), such candidates will be ranked according to their age in descending order, in merit.

Penalty for Wrong Answers:
There will be no penalty for wrong answers marked in Objective Tests. If a question is left blank, i.e. if no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question too.

SBI CBO Salary 2025
As per the official SBI CBO Notification 2025, the initial salary of a “Circle Based Officers” (CBOs) will be in the scale of JMGS-I (Rs. 48480-2000/7-62480-2340/2- 67160-2680/7-85920), at the start of the scale i.e. Rs. 36,000/- plus one increment for each completed year of service rendered in officer cadre in the Scheduled Commercial Bank and Regional Rural Bank.
The official will also be eligible for D.A, H.R.A/ Lease rental, C.C.A, Medical and other allowances & perquisites as per rules in force from time to time.

Step 2- On the bottom left corner of the homepage, click on the “Careers” option.
Step 3- A new page with URL- https://sbi.co.in/web/careers opens.
Step 4- Click on the JOIN SBI link on the menubar and then click on the “Current Openings” tab.
Step 5- Search for “Recruitment of Circle Based Officer (Advertisement No. CRPD/ CBO/2025-26/03)” in the Current Opening section and then click on it.
Step 6- Click for “Apply Online”, then a new page appears on the screen.
Step 7- Click on the NEW REGISTRATION button provided on the topmost right corner.
Step 8- Start your application process for SBI CBO 2025 by providing your basic details such as name, contact number, email id, address etc. and click on the save and next button.
Step 9- Login with the registration ID and password generated.
Step 10- Upload your photograph and signature in the required format as provided by the State Bank of India.
The permissible size of the photograph must be 4.5 cm * 3.5 cm and the photograph must be of passport size with white background. Both the photograph and the signature must be clear and legible. Permissible file size of the photograph must be of minimum 20 kb and of maximum 50 kb and that of the signature must be of minimum 10 kb and of maximum 20 kb.
