Sub:AP Samagra Shiksha - SIEMAT - Celebrating 'National Unity day as Rashtriya Ekta Divas on 31st October every year in all schools on occasion of the Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Certain instructions issued.
Ref: D.O.No.10-3/2021-KT, Dt.20th Oct, 2022 from the Additional Secretary (SS-I), DOSE & L, MoE, Gol, New Delhi
All the District Educational Officers & Ex-Officio Project Co coordinators and Additional Project Coordinators of Samagra Shiksha in the State are hereby informed that as per the ref.cited above, the DOSE&L, New Delhi has communicated that National Unity Day/Rashtriya Ekta Divas has to be celebrated in all schools on 31st October on occasion of the Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhai Patel.
The day wise schedule of activities is as follows
Further they are instructed to issue suitable directions to all the Schools of their respective Districts to conduct above suggested activities as per the schedule and instructed to up load the district wise,day wise Action Taken Report in the state link given. so as to submit the same to the DOSE&L, New Delhi by 3rd November, 2022.

The Attention of all the Regional Joint Directors of Schools Education and the District Educational Officers is invited to the references read above, wherein the Joint Secretary to Government, School Education, AP has informed that the Secretary, Ministry of Education, Department of Higher Education, Government of India, New Delhi-110001 has instructed to conduct Ekta Diwas on 31st October 2022 i.e birth anniversary of sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel.
Further, informed that, the central ministry of Education in association with Ministry of Sports, Government of India will organize 7500 Unity Runs involving people from all sections of the society in 750 districts on the occasion of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas. It will help spread the message of national integration and the spirit of “ Azadi Ka Amrit Mahostav” across the country. To achieve the target of 7500 unity runs, at least 100 unity runs will have to be organized in each district of the country.
Accordingly, to celebrate 31" October 2022 as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas with great enthusiasm and to organize various appropriate programs on the occasion including the following:
I. Oath taking ceremonies :
ఐక్యతా ప్రతిజ్ఞ - Ektha Diwas ప్రతిజ్ఞ
దేశ ఐకమత్యం, సమగ్రత, భద్రతను కాపాడటానికి స్వయంగా అంకితమవుతానని, అంతేగాక ఈ సందేశాన్ని తోటివారందరికి విస్తరింపజేయడానికి గట్టిగా కృషీ చేస్తానని సత్యనిష్ఠతో ప్రతిజ్ఞ చేస్తున్నాను
సర్దార్ వల్లభ బాయ్ పటేల్ దార్శనికత చర్యల వల్ల లభ్యమైన నా దేశ అంతర్గత భద్రతను పటిష్టపరచడానికి, స్వీయ తోడ్పాటునందిస్తానని, సత్యనిష్టతో తీర్మానం చేస్తున్నాను.
OATH:
“ I solemnly pledge that I dedicate myself to preserve the unity, integrity and security of the nation and also strive hard to spread this message among my fellow countrymen. I take this pledge in the spirit of unifcation of my country which was made possible by the vision and actions of Sardar Vallabhbhai
Patel. I also solemnly resolve to make. my own contribution to ensure internal security of my country.”
II. At least 100 Unity Runs in each district.
In view of the above, all the Regional Joint Directors for School Education and District Educational Ofcers in the state are instructed to take appropiate action under their jurisdiction to celebrate Rashtriya Ekta Diwas on 31st October 2022 with great enthusiasm.
