Sainik School, Korukonda Admission (Entrance Exam) Notification for
2022-23 for 6th, 9th Classes. Sainik School Korukonda Vizianagaram
District, Sainik School, Kalikiri Chittoor District have released the
Admission Notification for Classes VI IX for 2023-24. The aim of the
Sainik Schools is to prepare the boys academically, mentally and
physically for entry into the National Defence Academy, Khadakvasla and
other walks of life. Entrance Exam for Sainik School Admissions will be
conducted on 8th January 2023.
NTA will be conducting the All
India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE)-2023 for admission to
Class VI and Class IX in 33 Sainik Schools across the country, for the
academic year 2023-24. Sainik Schools are English medium residential
schools affiliated to CBSE. They prepare cadets to join the National
Defence Academy, Indian Naval Academy and other Training Academies, for
Officers.
The responsibility of NTA is limited to inviting online applications for AISSEE 2023, conduct of the AISSEE 2023, processing and declaration of result and providing the merit list to the SSS.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been established by Ministry of Education, Government of India an independent/autonomous, self-reliant and self-sustained premier testing organization.NTA will be conducting the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE)-2023 for admission to
Class VI and Class IX in 33 Sainik Schools across the country, for the academic year 2023-24. Sainik
Schools are English medium residential schools affiliated to CBSE. They prepare cadets to join the National
Defence Academy, Indian Naval Academy and other Training Academies, for Officers.
Ministry of Defence (MoD) has approved 18 New Sainik Schools, which operate in partnership with
NGOs/private schools/State Governments. These approved New Sainik Schools function under the aegis
of Sainik Schools Society. Admission to the Sainik School stream of Class VI of the New Sainik Schools, for
the academic year 2023-24 is also through AISSEE 2023

For admission to Class IX:
Eligibility to appear in AISSEE Sainik Schools Entrance Exam 2023
For admission to Class VI:- candidate should be between 10 and 12 years as on 31 March 2023 for admission to Class VI, i.e. he/she should have been born between 01 April 2011 and 31 March 2013 (both days inclusive) for admission to the academic year 2023-24.
- Admission for Girls is open for Class VI. Age criteria is same as boys.
For admission to Class IX:
- A candidate should be between 13 and 15 years as on 31 March 2023, for admission to Class IX, i.e. he should have been born between 01 April 2008 and 31 March 2010 (both days inclusive) for admission to the academic year 2023-23. Admission to Class IX is not open for girls.
- He/ she should have passed Class VIII exam from a recognized school at the time of admission.

Important Instructions for Sainik School Admissions 2023-24 through Entrance Test
1. AISSEE 2023 covers admission to Class VI and IX of Sainik Schools and Class VI of approved New Sainik Schools for the academic year 2023-24.2. Candidates can apply for AISSEE 2023 “Online” only on the website https://aissee.nta.nic.in. The Application Form other than online mode will not be accepted.
3. Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate. Application form is common for admission to both Sainik Schools and approved New Sainik Schools. Fee as stated above is the same whether a candidate applies for Sainik Schools/approved New Sainik Schools or both.
4. If a candidate submits more than one Application Form for admission at the same level (either class VI or Class IX) , all his/her Application Forms shall summarily be rejected.
5. Candidates must follow the instructions strictly as given in the Information Bulletin and on NTA website https://aissee.nta.nic.in. Candidates not complying with the instructions shall be summarily disqualified.
6. Candidates must ensure that e-mail address and mobile number provided in the online application form are their own or that of their parents, as all information/ communication will be sent by NTA through e-mail on the given e-mail address or SMS on given mobile number only.
Step by Step Guide for Sainik School Admissions Entrance Online APPLICATION 2023-24
How to APPLY ONLINE for Sainik School Admissions Entrance Exam:Follow the steps given below to Apply Online:
- First Step: A candidate can apply for AISSEE 2023, online only at https://aissee.nta.nic.in .
- Visit the Official online Link given at the bottom of the Page for Online APPLICATION.
Step 1: Register online using unique Email ID and Mobile No.
Step 2: Fill in the Online Application Form and note down the system generated Application No. Upload the following documents:
For existing Sainik Schools, Only Route, i.e., Through Entrance Exam;
40% route (in Approved New Sainik Schools) : Minimum 40% of the seats under the Sainik School stream in approved NSSs will be filled on the basis of the rank secured in the All India Merit List of AISSEE 2023. Domicile/Category are not considered for this Merit List. Candidates can opt for any NSS in India, at the time of counselling.
60% route (in Approved New Sainik Schools) : : Upto 60% of the seats in NSSs will be filled by those who are currently studying in any of the approved NSSs. They will be filled on the basis of rank secured in School wise Merit List. Domicile/Category are not considered for this Merit List.
Step 2: Fill in the Online Application Form and note down the system generated Application No. Upload the following documents:
- Scanned images of Candidate’s Photograph (filesize:10kb-200 kb) in JPG format
- Candidate’s Signature (file size: 4kb-30kb) in JPG format.
- Candidate’s left-hand thumb impression. (file size 10 kb -50 kb) in JPG format. (In case of any eventuality of left thumb being unavailable, right hand thumb impression may be used)
- Date of Birth Certificate
- Domicile Certificate
- Caste/Community/ Category Certificate( if applicable)
- Certificate of service (for Defence category-serving) and PPO for Ex- servicemen, if applicable.
- Certificate from the Principal certifying that the applicant is studying in the approved New Sainik School. (Applicable only for those who are studying currently in approved New Sainik Schools)
- (The certificates as detailed above: File size (50 kb to 300 kb) in PDF.
- Download save and print copies of confirmation page after successful remittance of fee and keep copies safely for future reference.
- All the 3 steps can be done together in one go or at different times.
- The final submission of Online Application Form will remain incomplete if Step-3 is not complete. Such forms will stand rejected and no correspondence on this account will be entertained.
There are two channels of admission to approved NSS (Approved New Sainik Schools)
40% route (in Approved New Sainik Schools) : Minimum 40% of the seats under the Sainik School stream in approved NSSs will be filled on the basis of the rank secured in the All India Merit List of AISSEE 2023. Domicile/Category are not considered for this Merit List. Candidates can opt for any NSS in India, at the time of counselling.
60% route (in Approved New Sainik Schools) : : Upto 60% of the seats in NSSs will be filled by those who are currently studying in any of the approved NSSs. They will be filled on the basis of rank secured in School wise Merit List. Domicile/Category are not considered for this Merit List.
