Sub:AP Samagra Shiksha – SIEMAT – Implementation of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Courses in the State for the academic year, 2022-23 – Instructions issued.

All the District Educational Ofcers & Ex-Offcio Project Coordinators and all the Additional Project Coordinators of Samagra Shiksha in the State are hereby informed that in the ref. cited, the Central Institute of Education Technology, NCERT, New Delhi has informed that the NEP-2020 emphasizes the Continuation Professional Development(CPD) of School Heads and Teachers to meet the needs of an enriched teaching-learning process for quality education. In this connection, it has been highlighted in NEP 2020 that each teacher and school principal are expected to participate in at least 50 hours in every year for their professional development, driven by their interests. Because of the above, the CIET has
communicated the Course details ofered by the NCERT online under the DIKSHA portal and mobile app. The schedule of the courses and course links are herewith enclosed (Annexure-1) for necessary action.
Therefore, they are requested to disseminate the information to all Schools and teachers in the State so as to enable them to under take the said courses.
